Soul Asylum Headlining Target Field's Skyline Festival
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Target Field will offer the opportunity for Twin Cities residents to re-familiarize themselves with one of their favorite local bands of the '80s and '90s.
Soul Asylum has been announced as the headlining act of the Skyline Music Festival, which will be at the Target Field on Friday, July 26.
That will be just two weeks after Kenny Chesney holds his second concert at the venue on July 12.
In addition to Soul Asylum, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Matthew Sweet and the Gear Daddies are also slated to perform at the concert.
The stage will be set up near third base. Seating will be limited to just the sections along the third-base side of the ballpark.
Fans will see the Minneapolis skyline in the background, hence the name "Skyline Music Festival."
Tickets go on sale next Thursday.
