Son Accidentally Shoots Mom In Owatonna
OWATONNA, Minn. (AP) -- Owatonna police say a 23-year-old man is being held after apparently accidentally shooting his mother.
Officers were called Thursday morning on a report of an accidental shooting. They found a 59-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her leg.
The woman was taken to the Owatonna Hospital and then transferred to Rochester.
Police say the son is being held on probable cause charges of reckless discharge of a firearm. The shooting remains under investigation.
