Snowy roads cause accidents, spinouts
MINNEAPOLIS — The falling weekend snow has caused a headache for some drivers.
The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting that between 9 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday there were 238 crashes on Minnesota roads.
Only about 30 of those crashes involved injuries and only one involved serious or fatal injuries.
State patrol also said 106 cars spun off the roadways. There were also two jackknifed semi-trucks.
It's important to remember to stay inside your car if you spin out or crash. It is also recommended that people keep a winter emergency kit in their cars. You can find a list of essential items here.
