Snow, Winds Make For Hazardous Driving in West Central Minn.
COSMOS, Minn. (WCCO) - Light snow and gusty northwest winds have created dangerous driving conditions throughout west central Minnesota.
While the amount of accumulated snow was just less than two inches, winds of up to 40 mph blew snow - reducing visibility to less than a quarter mile. Drivers said the road conditions were scary and claustrophobic.
As of Monday night, Highway 7, 23 and 200 are still closed. Even the bravest locals are urging people to stay off the roads.
