Snelling Avenue Lane Closures Start Monday
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – If you drive on Snelling Avenue near Interstate 94, the Minnesota Department of Transportation says to expect delays as you start your work week.
Motorists should expect delays starting Monday as both directions of Snelling Avenue between St. Anthony Avenue and Sherburne Avenue near I-94 will be reduced to one lane.
The closures are part of the project involving the Central Corridor Light Rail. Work crews will be preparing the area to lay tracks for the new light rail line in the area.
It's not known how long the work will take to be complete, but officials say all lanes are expected to be reopened by May 13.
