Gas Odor Detected At Downtown Mpls. Target
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis fire crews are investigating a possible gas leak at the downtown Target on Ninth and Nicollet.
A call was received at 1:47 p.m., reporting the smell of gas inside the store, according to dispatch.
Firefighters and the gas company for Target are trying to locate the source.
Centerpoint said they were notified by the Minneapolis Fire Department regarding the smell and sent a technician to the site.
The store was temporarily evacuated for about 10 minutes but has since been re-opened.
