Skeletal Remains Of Hastings Woman ID'd
HASTINGS, Minn. (WCCO) – The skeletal remains of a woman found near the Vermillion River in Hastings has been identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner on Thursday.
According to Hastings Police, the remains belong to Diane Kusick of Hastings, who was listed as a missing person since July 21, 2011. Kusick was last seen jumping into the Vermillion River by workers at a nearby company.
Kusick's remains were initially found by a Hastings man in January. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension conducted DNA testing, which matched the DNA of one of Kusick's family members.
