Shoreview, Minn. Man Missing In Indiana
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Shoreview, Minn. man and senior at Purdue University has been missing since Sunday afternoon, according to DNR officials.
Sean Alan Matti, who is also a running back for the university's football team, was last seen swimming in Lake Freeman around 5 p.m. in the Snow Ditch area near a home on Hambridge Drive in Indiana.
DNR officials have been searching for him since being contacted about his disappearance around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
Divers searched near the shore by foot on Sunday until the search was called off due to darkness. The search resumed Monday morning with the use of sonar technology.
Matti, 22, was last seen wearing gray shorts with the No. 1 on them. He was not wearing a shirt at the time. He is 6-feet-tall, 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Witnesses say Matti had been drinking at the time.
