Sheriff: Wanted Poster Out For Arden Hills Murder Suspect
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – As the search for Ty Hoffman continues, the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office released a new wanted poster Thursday seeking information leading to his arrest.
Hoffman is suspected in the Aug. 11 shooting death of Kelly Phillips at an Arden Hills gas station. Phillips, who was the vice president and general counsel for Boston Scientific, was shot three times that day at the gas station and died from injuries in the incident.
Investigators have identified Hoffman, a former business partner, as the shooter. Hoffman, 44, should be considered armed and dangerous. Authorities said the gun used in the shooting has not yet been recovered. Hoffman has been charged with second-degree murder and a warrant is out for his arrest.

Hoffman is known to associate within the gay community, and authorities believe he may be using Grindr, Craigslist, Scruff or other applications to find shelter. He is identified as about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and about 230 pounds with short brown hair, hazel eyes and a large build.
