Sheriff: Man Killed While Walking Down Chisago Co. Road
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man was struck and killed by a vehicle on a rural county road Friday night.
The Chisago County Sheriff's office says the incident happened at about 10:22 p.m. on Stark Road in Fish Lake Township.
A female driver called 911 to report that she had hit a man who was walking down the center of the eastbound lane of Stark Road, just west of Cedarcrest Trail.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was treated and released at the scene, and the sheriff's office says she was not driving impaired.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating.
