Sheriff: Girl, 5, Dies In Ham Lake House Fire
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 5-year-old girl is dead following a house fire early Sunday morning in Ham Lake.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says fire crews responded to the structure fire around 12:40 a.m. on the 3000 block of Meadow Lane.
The girl died as a result of the fire, and another victim, a 37-year-old man from Ham Lake, was hospitalized.
Officials gave no word as to the cause of the fire, which is under investigation by the state fire marshal's office.
The names of the victims have yet to be released.
