Sheriff, County Attorney Take Oaths In Ramsey County

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- John Choi has been sworn in as Ramsey County Attorney and becomes the first Asian-American county attorney in Minnesota and the first Korean-American county attorney in the nation.
Also Tuesday, Matt Bostrom became the new Ramsey County Sheriff after defeating long-time sheriff , Bob Fletcher, in last November's election.
"Community policing and working with the community, alongside them, to solve problems long term," said Bostrom, when asked about his approach to the office.
Bostrom is a former St. Paul police commander.
County Attorney Choi came to the United States as a child in 1973.
