Sheriff: Bomb Threat Cancels Classes At Maple Lake
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said classes had to be canceled at a school north and west of the Twin Cities on Wednesday after a threat was made against the school.
The Wright County Sheriff's Office was notified of a bomb threat at about 11:10 a.m. Wednesday at the Maple Lake Public School on the 200 block of Highway 55 in Maple Lake. Officials said the school houses students in grades K-12.
After an investigation of the threat, school officials decided to send students home for the day. School district officials said the threat was found written on a bathroom wall inside the school. Authorities said they are still investigating the nature and credibility of the threat.
