Sex Abuse Charges Dismissed Against Shattuck-St. Mary's Teacher
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Prosecutors have dismissed the sex abuse case against a former teacher at a Minnesota boarding school.
Joseph Machlitt was charged in November, after a former student at Shattuck-St. Mary's in Faribault told police Machlitt had abused him in 1980.
The student came forward after sex abuse accusations against another teacher at the school, and that particular case is still going forward.
However, the charges against Joseph Machlitt have been dismissed.
