Semi-Truck With 'Explosive Agent' Crashes In Cass County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A semi-truck carrying "an explosive agent" crashed into a car in Cass County on Tuesday.
The driver of the car, Pearl Bisson, 86, of Cass Lake, Minnesota, was seriously injured.
No fire or detonation occurred, and the Minnesota State Patrol said there was a "very low risk" the cargo would be activated.
Bisson was leaving a rest area frontage road toward Trunk Highway 2 near Cass Lake, when her Oldsmobile Bravada was struck by the semi-truck.
It's not clear what type of explosive agent the truck was carrying.
