Semi Goes Into Lake In Waseca, No Injuries
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating after a semi-truck slipped off a southern Minnesota highway and ended up in a Waseca lake Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon on Highway 14 near Clear Lake, and authorities said wet and icy roads along with strong winds may have been a factor in the accident.
A photo submitted to WCCO-TV shows a Koch semi-truck on the lake, but not under water. Lt. Eric Roeske with the Minnesota State Patrol said there were no injuries in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
