Second Annual Food Truck Fair Is Sunday In Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The second annual Food Truck Fair is moving locations and adding new trucks.
Officials said 29 food trucks will take up two blocks in Uptown, instead of the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis. That's double last year's number of trucks from last year.
This week, we'll highlight a different vendor so you can get a sneak peak at what you can expect at the Food Truck Fair this Sunday. Here's what House of Hunger expects to offer.
"I would call it urban comfort street food," said Cody Allen with House of Hunger. "It gets us out there to an audience that isn't always downtown Monday through Friday from 11-1, so the people that can't get downtown Monday through Friday can come down and try all the different trucks."
House of Hunger serves everything from Phillys to deep fried hot dogs. You can find the trucks parked south of Lake Street on Hennepin Avenue to 31st Street and East to Holmes Avenue. There will not be an entry fee to get in.
The Food Truck will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Sunday. On top of the 29 food trucks, there will be local craft beers and live Minnesota bands.
