Savage Officer Hurt In Crash Released From Hospital
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – More than two months after suffering a traumatic head injury in a car accident, a Savage Police officer was released from the hospital on Tuesday.
Officer Frank Mackall was responding to a police call in the early-morning hours of Jan. 2 when his vehicle slipped on the ice, went off the road and hit a tree. Mackall spent 84 days at North Memorial Medical Center for a serious head injury before being released from the hospital on Tuesday.
Mackall will continue his recovery from the comforts of his own home in Cottage Grove. He will rejoin his wife and three kids at home.
