Santa Chats With Children's Hospital Patients Via Internet
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Some special kids at Children's Hospital got a very special treat -- a visit with Santa all the way from the North Pole.
Some children are too sick to leave the hospital or even have visitors, but thanks to technology they got to talk directly to Santa via TelePresence.
And Santa had some secrets to share.
"So are you ready for a secret? Santa doesn't have any hair either, we look exactly alike isn't that amazing?" Santa told Children's Hospital patient Nelly.
Nelly got to chat with Santa and she told him all she wanted for Christmas this year was some Dora the Explorer stuff.
Children's Hospital is one of just 15 hospitals across the country that is part of this "Santa Connection Program."
*Although the word Skype is used in the video it was actually a program called TelePresence by Cisco Systems.
