Sanford Building $60M Medical Center In Minnesota
FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Dakotas-based Sanford Health plans to build a new, $60 million medical center in Thief River Falls, Minn.
The Forum reports that groundbreaking is scheduled for the spring of 2012, with completion planned for the fall of 2014.
Sanford says the new location will centralize care for patients, with clinic and hospital services located on one campus. Sanford has nearly 550 employees in the city.
Sanford this week opened an athletic training facility in Fargo, N.D. The $2.5 million building is next to Scheels Arena and also will serve as the training home for the Fargo Force junior hockey team.
Sanford opened its first athletic training facility in Sioux Fall, S.D., in 2008.
