San Antonio Double-Murder Suicide Has Ties To New Ulm, Minn.
SAN ANTONIO (AP/WCCO) -- San Antonio police believe the discovery of two men and a woman shot to death in a house is a double murder and suicide, and they were employees of a New Ulm, Minn.-based trucking company.
San Antonio authorities received a call Thursday morning from police in New Ulm, Minn., asking for help checking on a truck-driving team that hadn't reported in more than two weeks back to J&R Schugel Trucking company.
Officers who arrived reported hearing sound from a television, looked through a window and saw a man dead in a chair.
Once inside, police discovered another man dead on a bedroom floor and the woman wrapped in a blanket in another room.
Nearly 25 guns were removed from the home on Thursday afternoon.
Names of the victims, who are San Antonio residents, haven't been immediately released.
A police report identifies the man in the chair as 76 years old, the woman as 67 and the third victim 45. Police say the older man was the woman's boyfriend and the other male was her son.
