Salvation Army Hands Out Turkeys, Fixings For Those In Need
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) --Thanksgiving got a lot happier Friday thanks to the Salvation Army.
Volunteers were handing out boxes with turkeys and all the other fixings for a good Thanksgiving dinner. The Salvation Army has given out more than 2.5 million pounds of food in the Twin Cities this year.
Demand is expected to increase even more next year. The Salvation Army is asking everyone to give to the red kettle campaign so it can keep helping people in need.
