Saint Grand Makes 2nd $1K Donation
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Saint Grand struck again Monday.
The mystery donor again dropped $1,000 into a red Salvation Army kettle in front of a Cub Foods in St. Anthony. This time, however, the donation came with some folded stacks of $20 bills, not just crisp $100s.
The Salvation Army reported that on Saturday an anonymous $1,000 donation had been made at the same Cub Foods.
Last year, the Salvation Army reported 23 separate incidences of $1,000 being donated to area kettles, which helped the organization raise $5.6 million by Christmas Eve.
This year's campaign goal is to raise $9.8 million.
