Roseville Police Seek Suspect In U.S. Bank Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police is Roseville are seeking the public's help identifying the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Monday.
Police were called to the U.S. Bank outside Byerly's at 1601 County Road C around 7 p.m. Monday.
A suspect entered the bank just before closing time and verbally threatened the employees, saying he had a bomb, according to police. Employees said the suspect never displayed a weapon. Employees gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and he fled.
Police describe the suspect as a "black or mixed race male with a medium complexion," about 5-feet-5-inches tall, 30 to 35 years old and having thin a build.
The suspect was wearing a green "poofy" winter jacket, baseball cap, fake beard and mustache.
