Roseville Police Seek Help Locating POI In Hotel Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Roseville are seeking the public's help locating a person of interested in an attempted armed robbery at a hotel.
According to the Roseville Police Department, around 3:45 a.m. on June 16 officers responded to a call of an attempted armed robbery at the Fairfield Inn, located on the 3000 block of Centre Point Drive.
Hotel employees told officials that a female had entered the hotel lobby, spoke with employees for roughly two minutes and then left.
As she left, witnesses said she tripped the door security sensor to allow the robbery suspect to enter the building.
Police said the robbery suspect then entered, threatened employees and swung a large machete at them. All employees were able to flee.
When police arrived, the robbery suspect and the female were nowhere to be found.
Police are now seeking information that would help locate the female, as they believe she may have information regarding the robbery suspect.
She was described as having red braided hair, wearing grey sweat pants and a Captain American pull-over hooded sweatshirt.
