Roseville Police Ask For Helping In Finding McCarron's Lake Burglars
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Roseville Police Department is asking the public's help in finding those responsible for about 10 burglaries in homes and businesses about McCarron's Lake.
Police said they have no clothing or suspect descriptions, but it is thought the suspects are younger and work on foot.
The suspects ransack homes on weekdays, when residents are away at work or school, police said. They break into the home, typically through a back door, and take cash, small electronics and jewelry.
The suspects target businesses at night. The police say the business already victimized include an auto parts store, a restaurant, a church and a pawn shop. The burglars break into these businesses by throwing a landscaping block through a window and crawling through the hole.
In the daytime robberies, the suspects might knock on the front door to see of people are home, police said. If someone answers, however, the suspects likely ask for a person who doesn't live at the address and walk away, claiming they walked up to the wrong house. If you experience or see such activity, call police at 651-792-7211.
