Rocori School District Holds Meeting On Gun Incidents
COLD SPRING (WCCO) -- The Rocori School District held a community meeting Tuesday night after two students brought weapons to school in April.
Parents were upset that the school did not go on lockdown or call 911 after a 13-year-old boy pointed a loaded gun at another student.
Cold Spring Police Chief Phil Jones told the crowd he understood their concerns.
"We do not want it to happen again," said Jones.
The Rocori superintendent has said a lockdown wasn't necessary because they had the situation under control quickly.
In 2003, two students were shot and killed at Rocori High School.
