Roads Damaged By Flooding Get Timetable To Reopen
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's been more than two months since heavy flooding damaged several parts of northeastern Minnesota.
Now we're getting a better idea of when some damaged roads could reopen.
The worst road damage happened on Highway 210 between Jay Cooke State Park and Duluth's Fond du Lac neighborhood. Views from the air showed spots where entire sections of the road were missing.
According to the Duluth News Tribune, it could be more than a year before Highway 210 reopens. Other roads into Jay Cooke State Park are expected to reopen by the end of October, but visitors will have to travel from the west.
