River Falls Man, 26, Arrested In Fatal Shooting
RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WCCO) -- One man is in custody and another man is dead after a shooting in River Falls, according to police.
On Monday night, River Falls Police were dispatched to investigate a shooting at an apartment located on the 1400 block of Riverside Drive.
When they arrived, they found a deceased male victim, identified as 24-year-old Joshua Ronal Kurer, with a gunshot wound to the chest. Attempts to revive the man were unsuccessful.
Anthony P. Velure, 26, of River Falls was arrested in connection to the incident and transported to the St. Croix County Jail.
The investigation continues and formal charges are pending.
