Reward Offered In Dog Stabbing On Reservation
RED LAKE, Minn. (AP) — A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to whoever stabbed a male pit bull in northern Minnesota.
The Humane Society of the United States announced the reward.
According to Karen Good, executive director of Red Lake Rosie's Rescue, the young dog named Jacob was attacked on the Red Lake Indian Reservation.
On Feb. 16, Red Lake Rosie's Rescue got a call that a dog was injured in a yard and found Jacob against an outside wall near a porch.
Good says rescuers loaded Jacob into a crate and took him to a veterinarian. The dog had been cut four times with a knife, box cutter or razor. Jacob lost a lot of blood but survived.
Anyone with information is asked to call Red Lake Police.
