Reports: 1 Injured After Repair Shop Fire
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One man is recovering from burns after a car repair shop went up in flames Friday afternoon.
Crews from the Royalton Fire Department responded to a fire at Gene's Repair around 3:30 p.m. Authorities said four or five people were in the shop when the fire started.
A fire ball engulfed the back service bay, and now the shop is a complete loss. The office, however, was spared.
The shop is owned by Gene Binkley. The man who was hurt was his stepson.
The source of the fire is under investigation.
