Rep. Paulsen's Taco Hotdish

1lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 pkg. dry taco mix
1 (8 oz.) bag Doritos®
1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2 c. shreadded Cheddar cheese
Combine meat and onion in skillet, cook over medium heat until done; drain. Add tomato sauce and taco mix to meat mixture, stirring well. Place crushed Doritos® in bottom of 9x13 pan. Top with meat mixture. Top with remaining ingredients in order listed bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes.
