Red Cross Officials Say Need For Blood Urgent

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials with the American Red Cross say there's an urgent need for two different types of blood and they're encouraging people to donate.

A spokesperson for the Red Cross in the Twin Cities said there is an urgent need for the O-negative and B-negative blood types. Red Cross officials said overall their blood supply is stable, but they are always looking for people to donate blood.
