Red Cross: 14 Affected In S. Mpls Duplex Fire
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Red Cross said it assisted two families Tuesday night after a duplex caught fire on the city's south side.
The fire occurred in a duplex on the 2400 block of Elliot Avenue South. A total of 14 people were displaced: One family had four adults and five children; the other had two adults and three children.
The Red Cross said it is helping the families with shelter, food, clothing and emotional support.
The cause of the fire was not stated.
