Records: Washington County Commissioner In Jail
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Chair of the Washington County Board of Commissioners is being held in the Washington County Jail for various assault charges, Washington County Jail records show.
William Pulkrabek was booked Monday and is being held in jail on felony and misdemeanor assault charges.
Police said that Woodbury police responded to an assault call at an unidentified residence at around 4:20 p.m. and took Pulkrabek into custody.
Since Monday was a holiday, the county attorney will consider possible charges on Tuesday.
Pulkrabek is currently serving his fourth term as the Washington County commissioner. He has also served as the mayor of Oakdale, Minn., from 1995 to 1998.
