Recipe: Fennel Apple Sauté
Ingredients
1 Bulb of Fennel (julienned)
1 Red Delicious Apple (diced)
1 Granny Smith Apple (diced)
1 oz of Olive Oil
½ T of butter
Salt and Pepper
Directions
In a sauté pan heat small amount of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté fennel until caramelization begins. Add diced apples to pan and sauté for an additional 1 minute. Finish with butter, season with salt and pepper.
Cider Reduction (Pairs well with Sauté)
Ingredients
1 cup of Apple Cider
1 Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Cup of Honey
Directions
Reduce over medium low heat until thin syrup consistency. Cool and drizzle over fennel-apple sauté.
