Public's Help Sought In Finding Hit-Run Driver
SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for the public's help in finding the driver in a fatal hit-and-run crash last month.
It happened Aug. 24 on Highway 71 just north of Sauk Centre. A passenger on a motorcycle fell off near the entrance to Grey Stone Golf Course. A passing motorist traveling north then struck the fallen passenger and kept going.
Forty-year-old Eric Raisanen died after he was run over.
The State Patrol says the vehicle that struck him likely has a damaged front bumper.
Anyone with information is asked to call the patrol's St. Cloud district office.
