Prior Lake Family's Cars, Home Destroyed In Fire
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Red Cross is helping out a family of four after an overnight fire forced them out of their home in Prior Lake.
It started near the garage of the house on 4100 block Grainwood Circle NE early Friday morning.
Two cars in the garage were destroyed and the fire damaged a good chunk of the house too.
The Red Cross is helping the family with food, clothing and shelter.
Fire crews said smoke detectors woke the family up and helped them escape without being hurt.
The Red Cross said people can help in disasters like this by donating to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund here.
