Prince Fans Rave After Paisley Park Concert
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Prince put on a quite a show at his Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen on Saturday night, to hear the reviews from fans outside afterward.
The concertgoers said that Prince took to the stage for about two hours and played a number of songs that weren't necessarily limited to his greatest hits.
"It was everything I'd hoped for. It was amazing. The man is a genius. He's hilarious and cute and weird and very musically adept," said fan Jackson O'Brien. "I've listened to all kinds of Prince music a billion and a half times. Half those songs I did not recognize; maybe they're from the vault, maybe they're new stuff, I don't know. But it was great. Every last note."
It was the first time Prince played a concert for the public at Paisley Park -- the recording studio he founded in the 1980s -- in about four years.
Tickets for the event were $50.
