Powerball Jackpot Grows To Estimated $253 Million
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Millions of people hoping for an early retirement woke up disappointed on Thursday.
Minnesota State Lottery officials said there were no big winners in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, where the jackpot was estimated at $212 million. The next drawing will be Saturday night, and officials said the grand prize will be an estimated $253 million.
The pot has been building since late June, and Powerball tickets are now available in 42 states. If you win this weekend, the cash option is worth $170 million.
