Possible Sexual Assault At Juvenile Facility Investigated
LINO LAKES, Minn. (WCCO) -- Authorities are looking into the possibility that an inmate was sexually assaulted by a corrections officer at a juvenile facility.
According to Anoka County Cmdr. Paul Sommer, the incident in question allegedly happened on April 7.
However, Sommer said there is not currently a subject under investigation as they have not gotten a description from the accusing party.
Sommer said there have been no arrests made yet, and there have been no changes made to the work duties of any employees.
The facility is inspected by the Minnesota Department of Corrections, and administered by the county.
