Ponder In, Peterson Out For Vikings Vs. Lions
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO/AP) -- Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder will play in today's game, however star RB Adrian Peterson will not, according to team officials.
Ponder, who had a hip pointer in last Sunday's game, missed the first two practices of the week before returning to work on Friday.
This will mark Peterson's third straight game that he has missed as he continues to heal from a high ankle sprain. Peterson practiced on a limited basis with that injured left ankle.
