Police: Woman Critical After Shooting In St. Paul
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Police in St. Paul say a woman is in critical condition and two people are in custody after a shooting early Monday morning.
Authorities said the incident happened at about 2:20 a.m. at the Woodbridge Terrace Apartments on the 1500 block of Marian Avenue. Police were called on a report of a shooting and when they got to the scene, they found a woman who had been shot in the neck in the parking lot.
She was taken to Regions Hospital and is listed as in critical condition. Police said two people related to the incident are in custody, but at this point are not suspects.
The St. Paul Police Homicide and Crime Lab are investigating what led up to the shooting and are still seeking information about a suspect.
