Police: Van Crashes Into Rudolphs In Mpls, 3 Injured
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Three people were injured when a van crashed into a popular Uptown BBQ restaurant Sunday morning, according to police.
Minneapolis Police spokesman Sgt. Bill Palmer says at the time of the incident, a woman was driving the van with four small children in the vehicle, who were properly belted or in car seats.
According to Rudolphs' manager Rob Jahnke, he was about to open the doors of the restaurant shortly before 11 a.m. when the van struck the corner of their building.
Three people were then transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries, Palmer said.
Jahnke says Rudolphs is open for business.
