Police: Suspect Linked To Robberies In St. Paul, Edina
SOUTH ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- South St. Paul Police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for three armed robberies in St. Paul and Edina.
On Nov. 25 and Dec. 1, a convenience store at 1040 South Concord Street was robbed at around the same time -- 4:15 p.m. and 4:34 p.m. Both incidents involved a man who entered the business, displayed what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. Both times, the store employee complied with the demand and the man left the store.
Police also believe the man was responsible for an armed robbery at the Edina Market at 71st Street and Amundson Avenue in Edina.
No one was injured.
The man is described as a white man in his late 20s, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8 with a medium build. His vehicle is described as a smaller four-door tan vehicle with the rear small window broken out.
Both the South St. Paul and Edina Police Departments are working together in the investigation.
