Police Seeking 4 Masked Men In Alexandria Armed Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –Police are searching for four men who they believe committed an armed robbery at an Alexandria home Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 8:17 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of 11th Avenue East.
According to police, a 14-year-old male resident was home alone handing out candy when four men came up to the house.
The men, believed to be in their 20s, were wearing hooded sweatshirts and ski masks.
Police said they entered the home through the front door brandishing two long guns, possibly shot guns.
Once inside, the suspects demanded the victim hand over any drugs in the house. They then proceeded to search the house, presumably for drugs.
Before leaving they demanded all the firearms in the house as well.
Police said the four left with three guns owned by the resident.
The victim was not physically injured during the incident, but there was damage done to personal property at the residence.
There are no suspects in custody at this time. The incident is currently under investigation.
