Police: Officer-Invovled Shooting Was Justified
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) -- The Bloomington Police Chief said their investigation of the officer-involved shooting last week of an armed man was justified.
Billie Lobahanow was fatally shot in the hallway of an apartment complex where police responded to a call about a man armed with two knives who stabbed another man.
Some Somali community advocates criticized the shooting, stating it wasn't necessary.
Police Chief Jeff Potts said Tuesday that Officer Troy Meyer had no choice but to use deadly force.
