Police: Man Injured In Self-Inflicted Accidental Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Brooklyn Center police say a man needed hospitalization after he accidentally shot himself early Thursday morning.
At 2 a.m. Thursday, police responded to the report of a gunshot victim at a house on the 5300 block of Morgan Avenue. As officers were arriving, they were told that this was a possible accidental shooting.
Upon arrival officers located a man in the home with a gunshot wound. Police say he was conscious and alert at the time and no other occupants of the home reported injuries.
The man was then taken to the hospital and is expected to recover fully from his injuries.
After talking to witnesses at the scene, it was determined to be an accidental shooting. No charges are expected.
