Police: Man Found Shot To Death Inside Car In Mpls.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCC0) – Police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a vehicle late Wednesday night in downtown Minneapolis.
Authorities responded to the 1200 block of Washington Avenue at about 11:53 p.m. on a report of a shooting. When police arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle who appeared to have been shot.
The man, who police identified the victim as 26-year-old Abdirahman Hassan Haji-Ahmed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no information available on a suspect at this time and nobody is in custody in connection with the incident, according to Minneapolis Police spokesperson Cyndi Barrington. It is being investigated as a homicide.
