Police: Man Arrested On Bus After Robbing Bank In Uptown
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police say a man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly robbing a bank in Uptown and fleeing on a city bus.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, the man robbed the TCF Bank on the 1400 block of West Lake Street around 9 a.m. Wednesday, after presenting the teller with a note.
He then left the bank and was spotted by a witness on a bus.
The bus was tracked to 24th Street East and Harriet Avenue South where the man was arrested without incident.
Police say the Robbery Unit is beginning an investigation and will determine if charges will be presented for consideration.
The man's identity was not available.
